I have a couple other forms of income (that includes teaching chess for kids and taking out student loans).

But basically I'm trying to build up a good portfolio first more than anything. Although, it seems like most couples would either spend $1500 for a limited number of photos or zero dollars. I'm hoping to get a gig as a second photographer for some wedding photography group, so hopefully that will speed up the process where I can buy some AlienBees and start charging real prices.
